More info

In simultaneous interpretation, the interpreter renders the message in the target –language as quickly as one or two seconds as he or she can formulate it from the source language, while the source-language speaker continuously speaks, sitting in a sound-proof booth fitted with an effective ventilation system and with compact low-heat, orientable light source.

Simultaneous interpretation involves intensive concentration at a rapid and sustained pace; therefore there must be two interpreters for each booth working in turn around every 20 minutes depending on the course of speech. Simultaneous interpreters must not have only simultaneous interpreting competence such as training, skill and experience in interpreting from the source language to the target language, but also a thorough knowledge of the source material both in the source and target languages as well as a strict working discipline.

A. ISAGIZLI Translation Agency has a rich experience of successfully completing a large number of simultaneous translation projects both for local and international companies.
